Tarangire National Park

Depart from Arusha after breakfast. You will be picked up from your lodge and driven directly to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with a game drive through the heart of the park. Spend the afternoon observing large herds of elephants, ranging from 10 to 20 and sometimes up to 30, until late in the evening. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the Fig Tree Lodge & Camp.

Ngorongoro crater

Today, we will wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life is estimated at 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few. After the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha in the afternoon where you will arrive before dinner.
