After you arrive at the park, you will begin with the game drive and then stop at the restaurant for lunch within the park. You'll proceed with the game drive and when it turns out late evening leave the park heading to the lodge to rest before you enjoy your dinner.
Mikumi National Park is home to different animal species. During game drives, you can spot wildlife animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, moose, wildebeest, lions, and many species of birds.
The park is decorated by its superbly scenic plains and baobabs and it is home to various wild animals and bird species. The park is endowed with a spectacular concentration of wildlife that is rarely seen in other parks like magnificent sable antelopes, African hunting dogs, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, and others.

Mikumi National Park then Fly back to Zanzibar
Your day starts just after an early breakfast when you have to leave the lodge to head for the Maasai cultural tour and then proceed for the morning game drive. You will undertake the game drive for about 4 to 5 hours before heading for your hot lunch inside the park. Then, you will proceed with the adventure through Mikumi plains till late afternoon and catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
Yellow baboons, Masai giraffes, African bush elephants, common elands, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and many others are commonly spotted during the two-day game drives. You will occasionally come across lions, spotted hyenas, hartebeests, and jackals during these adventures. If lucky, you will see rare animals especially leopards and serval cats.
