1-Day Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hotspring

We shall pick you up from any hotel to Materuni waterfall. The waterfall is the highest and most impressive waterfall at the foothill of Mt. Kilimanjaro with a height of about 75m. You will take a beautiful 40 minutes hike through the hills and valleys route to the waterfalls. The valleys and hills are covered by tropical rainforest, coffee, banana and avocado “shambas”, the Kiswahili word for farms after waterfall you will visit a coffee place and learn about how coffee is grown, harvested and processed, and you’ll try your hand at roasting and preparing your own cup of coffee. After waterfalls tour, you will take 1 hour and 30 minutes proceed to Chemka Hot Springs a natural pool sourced with spring water from Kilimanjaro Mountain surrounded with tree species, it covered with refreshing crystal-clear water caused by geothermal heated spring. You will spend time in the pool before coming back to drop off in your hotel. Hot lunch will be provided at Materuni After Coffee experience.
