Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport, holding a personalized sign with your name. They'll then drive you directly to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can unwind before starting your city tour. This tour includes visits to local markets like the Masai market, cultural heritage sites, and the Arusha City Museum.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast, you will journey to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park stretches alongside the Tarangire River, characterized by low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its landscape features acacia woodland and towering African baobab trees, interspersed with expansive swamp areas, particularly in the south. During Tanzania's dry season, the rivers and swamps attract a diverse array of wildlife. As the day draws to a close, you will drive to Fig Tree Lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, your safari guide will chauffeur you directly to the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll descend over 600 meters into the crater to witness its abundant wildlife. Supported by a year-round supply of water and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a diverse array of animals, including wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants. This scenic national park is also renowned for its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards.

You'll also explore Lake Magadi, a large alkaline lake in the southwest corner, a prominent feature of the crater. It's a prime spot for observing flamingos, hippos, and various waterbirds. Your safari guide will lead a short walking safari near the hippo pool, with restroom facilities available nearby. Later in the afternoon, you'll return to your hotel in Arusha.

Upon pickup, you'll journey to Materuni village for a short yet exhilarating hike to the Materuni Falls, where you'll delight in the stunning waterfall view. Next, you'll explore a coffee farm, learning about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of coffee. You'll even have the opportunity to roast and brew your own fresh cup of local coffee! After the coffee tour, you'll return to the airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
