After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you, and your safari will commence. You will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, which takes approximately 3 hours. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. The park covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers.
You will enjoy a daylong game viewing with a picnic lunch looking out over the river to break up the time in the car. After a nice game drive, before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti/Ngorongoro Highlands
Today, you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast. Spot the animals when they are more active and experience a fantastic sunrise. The sunrise in the African savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for brunch.
In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Ngorongoro, the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. With walls 2,000 feet high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 square miles, the crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhinos. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.
