Letaba Camp, our favorite, is more than just a place to stay. Enjoy views of the Letaba River and explore the Park Shop, swimming pool, and The Great Elephant Hall - a museum honoring the park's majestic elephants.

Kruger National Park - Satara
Begin with a sunrise drive along the Letaba River, heading east through the landscape that shelters a shy pride of lions. Following this drive, return to camp for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, bid farewell to Letaba and head south toward the next stop, Satara. Traverse savannah grasslands, a sanctuary for zebra and wildebeest. Satara, nestled in Kruger's grasslands, is a haven for grazing animals. A waterhole near the camp offers opportunities to spot wildlife from the camp. Accommodation for the night is a traditional rondavel, with 2 single beds, air conditioning, a private washroom with a toilet and shower, a fridge, and a small patio.
Dinner is at the camp restaurant at your own expense. The night unfolds with a shared night drive guided by a trained Kruger ranger, offering a chance to witness the park's nighttime wonders. Venture into the darkness in search of big cats on their nocturnal hunts.

Begin with an enthralling game drive along the scenic N’wanetsi River road, known for frequent wildlife sightings. On one side, dense vegetation provides an ideal habitat for elusive leopards, while open plains on the other are perfect for cheetah encounters. The area is also a hotspot for lion sightings.
Navigate the N’wanetsi River road, looking for diverse wildlife, including white rhino, buffalo herds, blue wildebeest, zebra, kudu, and giraffe.
Breakfast at a picnic site overlooks the Sweni River gorge. Then, continue through an area that hosts one of Kruger’s super prides - an impressive 20 lions. Returning to camp for lunch allows time to relax and enjoy the camp’s facilities.
This afternoon, explore along the Sweni road, seeking more lion sightings and, with luck, a glimpse of the wild dogs. As the sun sets and the day’s excitement unfolds, dinner is expertly prepared upon returning to camp.

The day begins with coffee, preparing to explore Satara's open grasslands, a perfect habitat for the cheetah.
We return to camp for breakfast before our journey to Skukuza, our next destination. The 90km road offers opportunities to spot lions along the way. We pause at 2 iconic water points known for attracting diverse animal species. Arriving at Skukuza around 1 pm, enjoy an own-expense lunch at the camp restaurant by the Sabie River.
Skukuza is the largest camp in Kruger. Accommodation for the night is a traditional rondavel, with twin beds, a private washroom, a fridge, air conditioning, and a patio.
After lunch, relax and explore the camp’s facilities. You can swim in the pool, visit the Park Shop, or stroll along the walkway by the Sabie River.
This afternoon, we go on another game drive in the Skukuza area, known for lion sightings. We aim to locate the impressive pride of 20 members.
End the day with dinner under the stars, served in our makeshift bush restaurant.

Today begins with a guided bush walk. Accompanied by a trained Kruger ranger, you'll gain insights such as animal tracking and experience things often missed from a vehicle.
On return from the bush walk, breakfast sets the tone for the day. We bid farewell to Skukuza as we begin a southern route toward Berg-en-Dal.
Nestled in a mountainous region, Berg en Dal's lush riverine forests are known for high rainfall and serve as an ideal habitat for elephants, leopards, and the park's highest concentration of rhinos.
We stay in traditional African chalets at Berg-en-Dal for the last 2 nights. These chalets have a thatched roof, twin beds, a washroom, a small kitchen, and a cozy patio.
This afternoon, our safari drive promises excitement as we search for the amazing wildlife that calls this region home. The mountainous terrain adds an extra layer of intrigue to our quest.
At sunset, we return to camp, where dinner preparation begins with a crackling fire surrounded by the African bush.

A break at a scenic picnic site allows us to enjoy breakfast amidst the bush, savoring the serenity of the African wilderness. Late in the morning, we return to camp, allowing us to relax and enjoy the amenities that Berg-en-Dal offers.
Lunch at camp is followed by relaxation, allowing you to indulge in the swimming pool, explore the souvenir shop, take in the sights at the waterhole, or embark on a self-guided walking trail.
In the afternoon, we head on one last drive, anticipating this area's rich biodiversity to unfold in true majestic style. Dinner tonight is at your own expense at the camp restaurant, providing a moment to reflect on your safari journey.

Kruger to Johannesburg
The morning unfolds with one last safari, a journey along the Crocodile River. We search for any predators making their retreat, hoping for a final surprise from Kruger. With some luck, we might glimpse the resident pack of wild dogs known to operate around Berg-en-Dal - a fitting grand finale to our safari adventure.
Upon our return, breakfast is served, allowing us to relive the memories and share stories of the remarkable sightings we’ve experienced. Following breakfast, we’ll take you to the departure point for the return transfer from Kruger to Johannesburg.
You’ll arrive in Johannesburg between 5 and 6 pm. Please note that if you have flights on this day, international flights should not be scheduled before 7 pm, and domestic flights should be booked for after 8 pm.
