The first Well in Bulawayo for drawing water, Cecil John Rhodes timber yard the Selborne Hotel and many other areas of historic interest lie within the vicinity dating back to the first European occupation of Matabeleland in 1893. You will continue from there to see the sandstone buildings along main street, the Senataph a place where listed those who died in both the first and second World wars and around the corner the national art gallery one of the first buildings in Bulawayo. We then move on to Macdonald’s Hall the first meeting place where the national resistance began in the late 1960's and we'll visit other areas of historic significance of that period. We then drive to the railway museum and journey through the many periods of railway history with the many engines and carriages including Cecil Rhodes personal dining car. Here you will have teas and this concludes the end of the city tour.
