Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

The Tarangire National Park boasts giant baobab trees, expansive bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, enhancing its natural allure. Renowned for offering exceptional close-up encounters with elephants, it stands as one of the prime locations for observing these magnificent creatures. Additionally, the park hosts herds of buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often trailed by a diverse array of predators, including lions. While leopards occasionally grace the landscape, sightings of cheetahs are rare. Perched atop the safari vehicle's open roof, you'll marvel at the panoramic vistas and wildlife sightings. As the day wanes, you'll depart the park, journeying to your lodge where you'll spend the night, immersed in the tranquility of the wilderness.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

The entirety of the day is dedicated to immersing yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti through game viewing. Your itinerary will be tailored to the movements of the migrating herds, ensuring optimal wildlife encounters. Typically, predators such as lions, leopards (often found amidst the acacia trees), and cheetahs trail closely behind these nomadic groups. During the brief rainy season spanning November and December, the herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains. Conversely, in the longer rainy season from April to June, they journey back up north. As the migration pattern is intricately linked to annual rainfall, the precise location of the herds may vary from year to year. Rest assured, your experienced guide will navigate these fluctuations, leading you to prime viewing spots for an unforgettable safari experience.
