Day 1

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel, and depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third-largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. You will enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch. After another game drive, you will head to your accommodation at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Lodge to Serengeti National Park

Lodge to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti. You will pass by Karatu and the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoints. Immerse into the heart of wildlife - the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains. Then, we head to the Seronera area, the richest wildlife habitat in the park. The Seronera River is the water source of this area. We will have lunch and drive through the sunset to Kenzan Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

The great wildebeest migration happens every year, and the best chance to witness it is from June to September in Northern Serengeti. During the drive, thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. They migrate throughout the year in search of pasture.

Day 3

Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, you will start your full-day game drive inside the Serengeti. Your guide will make sure you witness the great wildebeest migration. It occurs every year, and the best time to witness it is from June to September in Northern Serengeti. During the drive, you will see thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River. They migrate throughout the year in search of pasture.

After the drive, you will exit Serengeti and proceed to Angata Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators, and you may see lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Depending on the location of the great migration, you may venture away from the southern region to experience this natural wonder. It is a truly life-changing experience.

After an unforgettable day, you will exit the park and head to Rhino Lodge at the rim of the crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

We will pick you up from the lodge after breakfast, drive you to Ngorongoro Crater, and descend into the crater with picnic lunch boxes for a game drive. Often called the Eighth Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The Ngorongoro volcano erupted about 2 million years ago, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with 600m-tall walls. Now, over 19km wide, the Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These habitats contain over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats.

The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest. Afterward, you will exit the park and drive to Heart and Soul Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley on its Western escarpment. See its famous tree-climbing lions and large, colorful flocks of flamingos attracted by high algae. You will perform a 6-hour game drive with a packed lunch box. During the game drive, you will stop at a picnic site at a hippo lake and have lunch with a view of the hippos. After the game drive, you will be transferred to Moshi town.

You will be picked up by your driver-guide from your hotel around 7 am and drive for half an hour to Materuni village; the road is a bit bumpy.

Once there, you will begin your hike to the waterfalls, which will take approximately 45 minutes. There, you can swim down the falls, take pictures, and enjoy the view. Afterwards, you will hike back to the starting point and have lunch. The food is local, from the local Chagga people. After lunch, you will witness how coffee is processed, roasted and grinded before being prepared for drinking.

For this one-day activity, your driver will pick you up early in the morning and drive to a place called Boma Ng'ombe, the highway to Serval Wildlife and Kikuletwa Hot Springs. You will drive for 2 hours to the Serval Wildlife gates. Here, you will spend 1.5 hours with the wildlife in the facility, taking pictures and having lunch. Then, leave for the hot springs drive for 2 hours. There, you will spend 2 hours swimming, and afterwards, you will start your trip to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
