In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transferred to Mikumi. It takes 6 to 7 hours driving from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi. You will stop on the way for lunch then continue driving to Mikumi. On arrival at Mikumi, you will check in at your lodge, and then go to Maasai village for a Maasai cultural experience.

In the morning after breakfast at your lodge, you will go for a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. The park is the home of different animals including 4 of the Big Five animals. Animals like giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, wildebeests, baboons, lions, and hippos can easily be seen. Also, it hosts different bird species as well as plant species. You will have lunch in the bush.
