After having breakfast, you will embark on a two-and-a-half-hour transit drive on well-maintained tarmac roads to Tarangire National Park. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River that flows through it.
During the dry season, this river acts as the only water source for wildlife in the region, thus making it a significant area for animal spotting. The Park is famous for its herds of elephants that often gather near the river. Other animals that you may see include giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests.
Predators such as lions and leopards are also found in the park. Tarangire National Park boasts of having more breeding species of birds than any other place on earth. Additionally, the park is home to giant Baobab trees, some of which are over a thousand years old.
You will have a hot lunch at a picnic site inside the park, followed by a game drive. After the game drive, you will proceed to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu.

Serengeti National Park
After having breakfast, we will depart from your lodge to the Serengeti plains, stopping at the crater viewpoint, then proceed with a transfer game drive to the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania and includes various environments such as heavy bush, short grass plains, grassland, lakes, mountains, and swaths of swamp area. The grassy section of the park is dotted with peculiar rock formations known as Kopjes, where predators are frequently seen.
The herds travel from the northern hills to the southern plains in the brief rainy season from November to December. They migrate back up north during the extended wet season, which lasts from April to June.
This cycle of life is wholly dependent on the annual rainfall. In the afternoon, we will have a hot lunch at a picnic site before proceeding to the center of the Serengeti, where we will spend the day doing game drive.

You will wake up early, have breakfast, and then leave the Serengeti for the Ngorongoro Crater. Once you reach the crater rim, you will be treated to breathtaking vistas of this 600-meter-deep collapsed volcano.
