Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
You'll wake up early to catch the wildlife at its most active and witness a breathtaking African sunrise, one of the most spectacular sights you can experience. After that, you'll head back to camp for breakfast, check out, and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater.
This vast crater is home to the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet, including almost every species of wildlife native to East Africa, such as the rare black rhino. The crater contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that looks like steam from above, a forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and grasses.
During an extraordinary game drive, you'll enjoy lunch. After a full day inside the crater, you'll ascend to the crater rim and drive to the Rhino Lodge. Once you check in, you can have dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha
After breakfast, you will be rewarded with a full-day game drive in the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the only places on earth where mankind and wild animals coexist in harmony. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for Africa’s best game viewing, as there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor.
Upon arrival at the crater’s rim, you will descend 610 meters into the crater where your safari truly begins. Spot the endangered black rhino as well as wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, and, of course, giant-tusked elephant. The crater also has the largest known population of lions, and you will also find leopards and cheetahs as well as scavengers such as spotted hyenas, jackals and rare wild dogs. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and these include white pelicans and flamingos. As the evening approaches, our guide will drive you back to Arusha.
