Day 1

Arrival in Uganda

Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport and you will be welcomed by your safari guide. You will be picked up by your safari guide from outside the arrivals section and driven to your accommodation only 15 minutes from the airport. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have an optional tour of Entebbe town.

Day 2

Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and boat ride on Kazinga channel

Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park and boat ride on Kazinga channel

You shall check out of your hotel at 6am to start your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park by road. You will have a lunch stop along the way. You will arrive in time to enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Check in at your accommodation.

Day 3

Drive to Ishasha and full-day game drives

Drive to Ishasha and full-day game drives

After breakfast you will check out of the lodge for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. Search the tracks for lions, leopards, elephants and many other animals. Afterwards you shall drive to Ishasha sector where you will have game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions and the large herds of game. You will carry a packed lunch which you will enjoy in Ishasha. Your game drive shall span the whole day and will be crowned with a sundowner drink at a vantage point in the park. Drive to your accommodation afterwards and check in for the night.

After breakfast you will check out of the lodge for an early morning game drive in Ishasha sector. Search the tracks again for tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants and many other animals. Afterwards you will drive to Bwindi. You will proceed to your accommodation located in the foreground of Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters from where you shall be briefed and grouped for your Gorilla trekking exercise. Tracking gorillas on average takes 3 – 6 hours depending on how far the animals have moved. You will spend an hour following, observing, and photographing the Gorillas as they feed, play and groom each other. After the experience, you will exit Bwindi Forest and rest at your accommodation.
