City tour of Kigali and drive to Volcanoes NP

In the morning you shall be picked from your hotel to start your day with a city tour of Kigali the heart of Rwanda. You will visit Gisozi Genocide memorial. You will also visit a local produce and crafts market in Kigali. After lunch, you shall begin your journey to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla trekking and visit to Iby'iwachu village

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for clearance, briefing, and allocation of a Gorilla family to track. You will spend an hour in their presence when you can observe, photograph and film them. After tracking exit the forest and return to your accommodation. In the evening you shall have a tour of Iby’Iwachu cultural village to immerse yourself in Rwandese culture. You will enjoy a traditional dance performance and purchase crafts if you wish. Return to your lodge afterward.

Golden monkey tracking and return to Kigali

After breakfast, you will return to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing before Golden monkey tracking. Trekking Golden Monkeys is in a small group of no more than eight people, and you can spend one hour with the monkeys. After tracking, start your journey to Kigali. Enjoy a few stops for photography along the way. In the evening you shall be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to the next destination.
