Day 1

You'll enjoy a delicious cup of tea/coffee at your respective hotel facility in Entebbe/Kampala city. Afterward, you'll meet your driver-guide who will pick you up to start your memorable road trip to Murchison Falls National Park.
Today’s journey takes the Northwestern circuit of Uganda via the Kampala-Gulu highway. It will include an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for you to embark on an active walk with rhinos in the wild. Expect to have an in-depth learning about rhinos’ behaviors and take pictures of them while in the natural environment.
You'll leave Ziwa for Masindi where you will have lunch. After lunch, you will cross to Murchison Falls Park —Uganda’s biggest park and also home to the world’s most powerful falls. At Kichumbanyobo gate in the south, you will drive while spotting some amazing fauna. You will check in at the pre-booked accommodation for an overight stay.

Day 2

Game Drives, Boat Cruise and the Incredible Waterfalls

After an early morning breakfast, you'll meet the driver-guide for pick-up at the lodge. You'll set off for an early morning game drive taking you via the Northern section of the park. The 2-3 game drive experience through this game track allows you to see a myriad of fauna including warthogs, Rothschild giraffes, bush elephants, oribis, hartebeest, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, and birds.
You'll return from your game drive and settle for lunch at the lodge. You'll end the day with a thrilling launch or boat cruise experience through the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This comes with lots of surprising encounters like the Nile crocodiles, hippos, water birds, etc.
At the base of the falls, take pictures. Later, you'll proceed with the trek to the top. This will be done provided that the water level is low and allows you to cross from the docking point to where the hike starts. At the top of the falls, you will enjoy the breathtaking views.

Day 3

You will have your morning breakfast and begin your journey to Kibale National Park via the Albertine Rift Valley with its spectacular view. You will continue to Nguse River Camp for a lunch break. You will then proceed to Fort Portal. You can opt to do the city tour with the help of your guide before proceeding to the park. You will arrive late afternoon. You will check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk/Community Walk

You will wake early in the morning for your breakfast and your guide will drive you to the briefing point where you will be told the do's and don'ts when with the chimps. The activity takes 2-4 hours depending on their location. You will then return to the lodge for relaxing and lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be joined by the local community guide who will take you through the wetland walk and community where you will learn a lot about our culture.
You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have your breakfast in the morning and drive to QENP via Kasese. You will arrive in the afternoon, check in at the hotel, and prepare for the boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel where you will spot animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and some water birds. You will return to the lodge to freshen up and relax a bit. Later in the evening, you will join your guide for the evening game drive, you will spot some lions, impalas, buffaloes, elephants, and others. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will wake up early for your cup of coffee and set off for the morning hunt for the lions in the wilderness and so many other animals. You will return to the lodge for a full breakfast and check out from the hotel. You will begin your journey through the Kihihi Kanungu district. You will arrive late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll leave your respective lodges for briefing at the park offices. Get to understand gorilla trekking regulations and the park official will also allocate gorilla families during the same session. Following will be the actual trek which begins at 8:00 am and takes between 2 and 6 hours. On finding the family of these apes, you will enjoy an hour for an up close and personal encounter then get back. In the evening, expect the best of the Batwa cultural experience then dine and retire for the night.

You will have your breakfast early morning and start your journey back. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and at the equator for photography and proceed to Kampala.
Upon your arrival, you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice or you will be transferred to the airport if you have a flight to catch.
