Chimpanzee Tracking Experience and Afternoon canopy walk

After breakfast, receive a briefing at the park headquarters for chimpanzee tracking. Led by expert guides, explore Nyungwe Forest in search for chimpanzees. The forest is also home to various primate species like L’Hoest monkeys, Angola Colobus, vervet monkeys, Red-tailed Monkeys, Dent’s Mona Monkeys, Olive Baboons, and Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, along with over 300 bird species including the great blue Turaco and the Rwenzori Turaco. Tracking time varies, typically 45 mins to 4 hours. Spend an hour observing chimpanzees, then return to reflect at the lodge. After this immersive experience, you return to the lodge, reflecting on the remarkable encounter with these incredible primates. After the trek, enjoy lunch at the lodge before immersing yourself in the treetops with a canopy walk. Traverse suspended bridges high above the forest floor, offering panoramic views and unique wildlife sightings. It's a day filled with thrilling encounters and unforgettable moments in nature.
