Explore Makgadikgadi National Park

Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is a unique and another worldly destination located in the Kalahari Desert. The pans were once part of the ancient lake. On a dry season, Boteti River becomes the only source of water and large herds of Zebras, Blue Wildebeests as well as elephants comes to this river for water. After the first rains, these species disperse out to other parts of the reserve especially towards the open pans. Following this migration is a spectacle unparallel to any. A sight of large herds of Zebras on an open salt pan dotted with tall palm trees gives a breath-taking sighting and it's a dream come true for photographers. Be awed by this beautiful scenery on our game drives and experience untamed nature at its best.

Explore Central Kalahari Game Reserve

On this day you will wake up and have full breakfast in camp before embarking on 1h30mins drive on a tarmac road to Rakops village where you will refuel and buy any necessary personal supplies for the final 2 nights of your safari. Thereafter you will embark on another 2 hours' drive to Central Kalahari game reserve entrance on dirt road.
we would make a stopover at the entrance and have our packed lunch and soon after that we would do a slow game drive from the entrance to our designated wilderness camping site at Deception valley. AS you drive through the park be on the lookout for some species especially Gemsbok, Kudus, Duikers peacefully rest under the shade. These antelopes attract predators, so be on the lookout for lions, Leopards and Cheetahs in the open plains.
On arrival at Deception valley, we would make Sundowner stopover to capture the beautiful sunset on an open Kalahari landscape.
Dinner will be served in camp then you can seat around fire and admire night sky.

Explore The Kalahari

On This day you will explore Deception valley, Leopard Pan, Sunday water hole, Sunday pan and finally Deception pan. You will go on a day excursion to cover all the stated areas above.
⇒ Wake up early for coffee/tea, cereals, juice and fruits
⇒Start you drive towards Sunday pan and Sunday water hole
⇒Stopover around Sunday area for packed breakfast
⇒Do slow drive towards Leopard pan and drive around leopard loop then stopover for packed lunch
⇒Slow game drive towards deception valley and deception pan, drive around deception pan before coming back to deception valley for Sundowner stopover.
⇒Drive to camp and freshen up
⇒Served dinner
⇒Seat around fire with our team to share experiences and observe the Kalahari night sky.
⇒ Go to bed.

Drive back to Maun/Safari Ends

On this final day you will do about 2 hours' drive out of reserve with the first 30 minutes being a final game drive on the Deception valley and final 1h30mins drive to Matswere gate (Exit) the possibility of you seeing some interesting species as we drive out are equally high and at all times you must be on the lookout to be amazed by mother nature.

⇒Say your final goodbyes to our team
⇒ Embark on a slow drive out of the reserve
⇒ After leaving the entrance we would embark on 5 hours (99 km) slow drive on a sandy road towards Makalamabedi village
⇒ Stopover for packed lunch at Makalamabedi village
⇒ do the final 1h30mins (78km) to Maun on tarmac road.
⇒On arrival you will be taken to your booked lodge
⇒ Agree with your guide on the pickup time for transfer to airport
⇒ Safari ends.
