Arrival at Kigali international airport, and drive to Volcano National Park

Depending on arrival time, meet and greet our representative, he will drive you to Volcanoes National Park. Along the journey to Ruhengeri, you will enjoy the beautiful hilly landscapes from which Rwanda is named the “land of a thousand hills” this journey, will only be amused at how those hills could be arranged in such a beautiful manner so much in a descending order, with undulating greenery grass all over them. Arrive in time for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla tracking Experience in Volcanoes National Park and Afternoon Cultural Immersion

Prepare for an extraordinary mountain gorilla trekking experience by donning recommended attire: long trousers, waterproof gear, and sturdy shoes. After breakfast, meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing at the park information center. With a group of eight, embark on a trek to track a specific gorilla family, accompanied by armed rangers. Be prepared for challenging terrain and varying trek durations. Encounter diverse wildlife and observe gorillas in their natural habitat, respecting their space. Receive a trekking certificate before returning to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.
Later, indulge in a cultural extravaganza at Ibyawacu Cultural Village. Immerse yourself in Rwanda's traditions through dances, poems, and stories. Learn about traditional dressing and witness cultural ceremonies. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Hiking Bisoke Volcano and transfer to Lake Kivu for Relaxation

Set off at 7:30am for a briefing at Volcanoes National Park after breakfast. The 4 to 6-hour hike up Mount Bisoke starts at 8:00am, with a drive to the starting point where you'll receive a hiking stick. At the summit, enjoy the Crater Lake and stunning views of the Virunga ranges, Volcanoes National Park, Virunga National Park, Mgahinga National Park, and the Rwenzori mountains. Descend to meet your guide and head to the lodge for lunch.
Next, transfer to lake Kivu to experience the enchanting Lake Kivu on the Rwanda/Congo border, just two hours from Kigali. Kibuye offers swimming, canoeing, and water-skiing, while Gisenyi has nostalgic Belgian-era architecture. After gorilla tracking in Parc des Volcans, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Kivu, observing bird species and aquatic animals. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, then transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey, carrying memories of Rwanda's enchanting landscapes.
