Start your day with an early rise and a quick breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking protocols. Accompanied by a knowledgeable park guide, venture into the forest to track chimpanzees and other primates in their natural habitat, renowned as the primate capital of the world. Along the way, encounter a variety of forest dwellers such as L’hoest monkeys, black-faced colobus monkeys, and baboons. The highlight of the day is observing the playful antics, communication, and feeding habits of the chimpanzees, typically allowed for an hour.
