Next, journey towards Kibale Np for a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience. Along the way, soak in the picturesque views of tea estates, lush forests teeming with wildlife, and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain looming in the distance. En route, stop in Fort Portal City for a delightful lunch break before continuing your drive to Kibale Forest. Embark on a memorable chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest National Park. After breakfast, receive a briefing at the park's information center on trekking protocols. Begin your forest walk, encountering L'Hoest monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and olive baboons. Keep an eye out for forest elephants, bush pigs, and buffaloes, as well as bird species like little greenbuls and turacos.
With over 1,500 chimpanzees, Kibale offers a unique opportunity for observation. Trek durations vary from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Encounter the chimpanzees and enjoy an hour of mesmerizing observation and interaction with knowledgeable park staff. Receive a certificate of completion before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, relishing the adventurous experience.

Wake up early in the morning (5:30am) to prepare yourself. Today, you will have a relatively long journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park about 8 hours. You will drive from Kibale forest national park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with en route meal in Ishasha sector at Topi Safari Lodge. You will reach late in the evening and when time allows, you will go for hike to the Batwa local village is situated will go up a steep hill where you will get to meet them and interact with the community pygmies. Once you reach their village, it welcomes you with an open big smile. During your visit, you learn how they hunt, honey gathering, making medicine from herbs, how they made clothing while they still lived in the first, how they kept their children as they did their house duty. They prepare a very beautiful dance and drumming. The Batwa trail is very wonderful experience which you can add on your gorilla safari while in Bwindi Impenetrable. you will return to lodge for overnight.

Prepare for mountain gorilla trekking by wearing appropriate attire: long trousers, long-sleeved shirt, waterproof hiking shoes, jacket, hat, and gloves. After breakfast and packing lunch, meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing at the park information center. Learn about trekking protocols and expectations.
Grouped with eight individuals, you'll track a specific gorilla family with armed rangers and a guide. Venture into the forest, trekking for 45 minutes to 6 hours depending on gorilla movements. Be mentally and physically prepared for the terrain.
Encounter diverse wildlife such as forest elephants and primates, with your guide providing insights. Spend an hour observing gorillas respectfully, avoiding direct eye contact with the silverback.
Receive a trekking certificate for conservation efforts. Conclude by journeying to Lake Bunyonyi, reflecting on the unforgettable gorilla encounter.

This historical site was used by the Bakiga community to discipline girls who became pregnant before marriage, shedding light on cultural practices.
Following the serene canoeing experience, return to the lodge to check out and commence your journey to Jinja, an 8-hour drive from Kabale. After breakfast, drive to the starting point for your white-water rafting adventure on Lake Victoria, organized by Adrift Uganda. They capture each trip on film for lasting memories. The route covers 30 kilometers, with rapids ranging from lower grades to turbulent Grade 5 rapids.
This adventure suits both young adults and adults. Participants can choose their level of adventure, with younger rafters enjoying lower-grade rapids and the more adventurous tackling higher grades. Safety is prioritized, with rescue teams including kayaks and safety boats.
Rafters may face fatigue and falls, especially in Grade 4 and 5 rapids, but dedicated rescue teams are on hand to assist. The experience covers grades 1 to 12, with Grade 5 being the most challenging. Along the Nile, you can spot various bird species and wildlife.
After the thrilling rafting, return to your lodge before transferring to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable Uganda adventure.
