Day 1

Up on arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our tourist guide who will drive you to your booked lodge. He will brief you about the 10-day safari and Rwanda. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay to relax and prepare for the following day.

Day 2

Kigali City tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park - Ibyiwacu Cultural Village

After having a hot delicious breakfast, you will be met by your guide to start your day. Visit the Rwanda Genocide Museum where the dark history was written in Rwanda in 1994 where about 1,000,000 people lost their lives. The remains of the victims were collected in this place. After drive to Volcanoes National Park. Visit Ibyiwacu cultural village for the cultural entertainment. Learn about the traditions of Rwanda people like dances, marriages and feel free to join the experience.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Wake up and get dressed up in long sleeved shirts, pants, waterproof hiking shoes, walking sticks, insect repellent, enjoy your hot breakfast. Drive to Volcanoes National Park Visitor Information Center for briefing about Golden Monkey tracking. After briefing, you wil be assigned a guide to walk with in the forest. Golden Monkeys are endemic to the Virunga's. These beautiful golden backed monkeys are fascinating to see. Enjoy them as they play, feed, found in the high-altitude areas.
After transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda for Gorilla Tracking. Check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Gorilla tracking and Batwa Community Walk

Gorilla tracking and Batwa Community Walk

Wake up early in the morning and dress up in long pants, long sleeved shirt, rain jacket, waterproof shoes and hut. After a delicious breakfast, have your packed lunch and drive to the visitor information center for briefing and pre gorilla cultural performances.
You will be put in 8 people group and allocated a group to track. Start your journey to search for the gorillas. Usually, the time it takes before tracing the gorillas depends on the where they were last seen the previous day 40 mins to 4 hours.
When you locate them spend a maximum of an hour interacting with the gorilla family. Your guide will interpret for you nature and learn about the gorillas from the food, social structure of the family. Take photos, record videos to show your friends and family.
In the evening visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Learn about their dances, food, craft, herbs, life. These are the shortest people in the region and the first people to occupy the great lakes region.

Day 5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a hot breakfast, have your bags packed and ready to go. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Ishasha sector to search for the Tree climbing lions. You will spot various wildlife like elephants, Buffaloes, topis, Kobs, Waterbucks. Ishasha sector is one of the few places where you can see the tree climbing lion. This behavior among lions is passed on from generation to generation and they climb the fig trees for unclear reasons.
Enjoy your enroute lunch.
Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth NP, embark of boat cruise on Kazinga Channel a 40 km stretch joining Lake Edward and Lake George. It's an important water way for animals as it is a habitat for some and provides water for quenching thirst and cooling temperature. Nile crocodiles, monitor lizards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Pelicans, Cormorants, Kingfishers can be spotted.
If time allows go for a short evening game drive in Kasenyi for a sun set views in the savannah.
Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Kibale National Park

Wake up in the morning and grab a cup of coffee and hot breakfast. Drive to Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive. Watch the sun set on the African savannah and keep your eyes out for the predators like lions, leopards, hyenas before they hide in thickets and dens for the rest of the day. Elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Kobs, Warthogs can be spotted. Drive to Kasenyi craft market for a break and shopping for souvenir.
After the game drive to Kibale National Park with a stop at Kikorongo Equator Point for photos, then enjoy the landscape, the foothills of Rwenzori Mountains. Check in to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Community

Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Community

Wake up and prepare yourself for chimpanzee tracking. With long sleeved shirts and pants, waterproof shoes, Hat, Packed lunch drive to Kanyanchu for Briefing. In groups of 8, drive to the starting point and start your walking in forest to look out for the chimpanzees. Walk for about 40 mins to 4 hours to look for the chimps and once you locate them, spend a maximum of 1 hours with them. Other primates like red tailed monkeys, L Hoest Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Black and white Colobus monkeys can be spotted. Take photos and record videos.

After lunch, drive to Bigodi Community for community and swap walk experience like visiting African homesteads, learning about Banana bonga products, experiencing chimpanzee robusta coffee, meeting traditional healers, witnessing handcraft making, cultural dances, weddings, iron smithing, and milking. After check-in at your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Murchison falls with en route lunch. Up on arrival, drive to the top of falls for the hike to view the falls. The Nile River squeezes itself through a narrow gorge of 7-8 meter wide and falling at 45 meters deep before continuing to flow calmly toward Lake Albert. a hike along the baker trail offers you the best opportunity to view both Murchison and Uhuru falls.
After the experience, drive the northern sector and if time allows go for a short evening game drive. Check in to your booked Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today, wake up early and grab a cup of coffee and hot breakfast. Drive to the park to start your morning game drive. Murchison is the largest national park in Uganda. Spot various wildlife like Buffaloes, Elephants, giraffes, Kobs, Waterbucks, Oribis, Lions, Leopard, Hyenas which are the highlights of the African savannah. Enjoy your break at hippo pool and continue with your game drive in various tracks.

After lunch, drive to Paara to start your boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. On the boat cruise spot various animals like Nile Crocodile, Hippos, elephant. Birds like Fish eagles, kingfishers, African skimmers, Cormorants can be also spotted on the boat ride.
In the evening continue with your evening game drives to increase your chances for wildlife sightings.

Wake up and drive through the park as you spot wildlife and bidding farewell to the park. Drive to Entebbe via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. This is a breeding project for the Southern White Rhinos to be re-introduced in the wild after extinction in 1980s. Walk around the sanctuary in search of these gentle giants. After transfer to Entebbe International Airport. The end of the trip.
