Meet one of our tour guides at the airport. If you arrive in the afternoon, you will be driven to one of the hotels in Nairobi for dinner and an overnight stay (at an extra cost). If you arrive in the morning, the drive to visit one of the premier wildlife reserves in East Africa, a popular safari destination, Maasai Mara National Reserve, will take about 5 hours.

You will engage in an en-route game drive in the park before checking into your semi-luxurious tented camp for lunch and refreshments. You will have a relaxed afternoon at the camp, then dinner and an overnight stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve Full-Day Game Drive

Rise early for breakfast at the semi-luxury tented camp and head out for a full day of adventure starting with an early morning game drive with your packed picnic lunch.

A breathtaking view of Maasai Mara National Reserve, showcasing the vast savannah landscape, awaits you. Visit the Mara Triangle, famous for its dense population of predators, and the beautiful Mara River, home to large populations of crocodiles and hippos. Get to spot majestic elephants, a pride of lions, herds of zebras and wildebeests, sightings of cheetahs hunting or resting on the plains, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and giraffes. The Maasai Mara is also home to over 500 species of birds, including raptors and migratory birds.

In the late afternoon, you will be driven back for your second night at the lodge. Have your dinner as you enjoy the lodge amenities.

Hell's Gate - Lake Naivasha National Park

We start the day with an early breakfast and check out of the camp. The drive to Hell's Gate, located at Lake Naivasha, takes about 4 hours. This freshwater lake in Kenya is home to a variety of wildlife, including over 400 different species of birds and a sizeable population of hippos.

Upon arrival, you will check into Kentwood Cabins and camp for refreshments and lunch. Head out in the afternoon for a game drive at Hell's Gate National Park, a boat ride to Crescent Island with a nature walk and ride bikes in the park!

You will spot zebras, herds of buffalos, hartebeests, elands, Defassa waterbucks, olive baboons, and Maasai giraffes, among others, as well as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Head back to the cabin in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive to Nairobi Airport

This is the last day of your tour! Get up early for breakfast and check out of Kentwood. The drive back to Nairobi will take about 3 hours. Our guide will drop you off at the airport for your flight back home or at your choice of accommodation.
