This unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometres from Nairobi’s bustling city centre, but despite its proximity, different species of mammals can be found there. At around 10:30 am, check out of the park and drive to David Sheldrick to see baby elephants feeding time.
Later, drive to Galleria Mall for lunch.
Afterwards, drive towards Giraffe Centre to see and feed the famous Rothschild Giraffe and her family. You can observe, hand-feed or even kiss one of the giraffes from a raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience. You may also spot warthogs snuffling about in the mud.
Later, proceed to Karen Blixen Museum which was once the centrepiece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. The farmhouse gained international fame with the release of the movie ‘Out of Africa’. Later in the evening drive back to the hotel or airport.
