Nairobi-Samburu National Reserve

Arrival at JKIA Airport where you will be met by our team outside the customs and immigration halls and briefed on your safari, by 0700 hrs drive to Samburu soon after. Arrive at Samburu Game Reserve and check in at Ashnil Samburu Camp for Lunch. Samburu game reserve is well known for the rare northern species such as Gravy’s zebra, the Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, the long-necked gerenuk, Guenther's dik-dik and the Beisa oryx, collectively known as the Samburu Special Six. Late afternoon, depart for game drive until sunset. Drive back to the camp for dinner & overnight.

Samburu Game Reserve

Early morning Game drive. Return to lodge for breakfast. Day spent resting and enjoying Camps Facility or you can embark on another Game drive if you so wish. Lunch at the camp. 1600 hrs: Afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. Optional Visit a samburu village (payment on ground). Dinner & overnight at Ashnil Samburu Lodge.

Breakfast & drive to Aberdare National Park. On arrival, check-in followed by lunch at the Aberdare Country club, the base hotel for Ark Lodge. Later transfer to Ark lodge (carry light weight bags only) & spend the afternoon viewing animals from the decks. Dinner and overnight at Ark Lodge.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your lodge. It's a perfect time to reflect on your incredible safari experiences and perhaps share stories with fellow travelers.

After breakfast, start your journey back to Nairobi. Your safari adventure may be coming to a close, but the journey back to Nairobi is another opportunity to enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Kenya.

You will arrive in time for lunch (pay directly) after which you will head to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you'll be catching your flight back home.

Your departure from the beautiful land of Kenya can be a time to cherish the memories you've made and to anticipate your next adventure. Safe travels!
