Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you'll be warmly welcomed by our team. After completing immigration and customs formalities, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe. You spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to your new surroundings.

Your journey begins as your guide picks you up from your hotel in the morning. You'll embark on a scenic drive heading to Murchison Falls National Park, with a fascinating stopover at the Rhino Sanctuary along the way.
This sanctuary spans 70 square kilometers and is home to over 35 white rhinos, playing a crucial role in reintroducing these majestic animals to Uganda's wilderness. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to observe rhinos in their natural habitat, while on foot for an up-close experience.
After the Rhino Sanctuary visit, we'll pause for a delightful lunch before continuing our journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

Early Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari

This day starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank, departing at 6:30 am and returning around 11:00 am. Wildlife sightings may include baboons, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeests, oribis, waterbucks, bushbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, side-striped jackals, as well as carnivores like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon boat cruise on the River Nile, offering views of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species such as goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelicans, bee-eaters, kingfishers, hornbills, cormorants, saddle-bill storks, and if lucky, the shoebill stork. Following the boat safari, enjoy a hike to the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where you'll meet for the return journey to the lodge.

Following breakfast, we'll bid farewell to Murchison Falls and hit the road, embarking on a scenic drive towards our next destination. The journey to Kibale Forest is an adventure in itself, offering glimpses of Uganda's diverse landscapes and vibrant culture along the way. While the duration of the drive may vary depending on road conditions, we anticipate arriving at Kibale Forest around 2:00 pm.
Upon reaching Kibale, you'll have the opportunity to stretch your legs and explore the surrounding area. For those eager to delve deeper into the local culture and natural beauty, an optional community walk is available. This leisurely stroll will take us through the captivating crater lakes region, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the shimmering lakes nestled amidst the lush greenery.

After fueling up with a hearty breakfast, we'll make our way to the park headquarters, where our thrilling journey begins.
Upon arrival, we'll receive a short briefing from one of the knowledgeable park staff members, who will provide essential information about chimpanzee trekking and the guidelines we need to follow during our excursion.
With anticipation building, we'll be assigned an experienced guide who will lead us deep into the heart of the forest in search of our primate cousins.
Kibale Forest is renowned as one of the premier destinations for primate tracking in East Africa, offering unparalleled opportunities to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
After an exhilarating morning of chimpanzee tracking, return to your lodge for a delicious lunch before embarking on a captivating Bigodi swamp walk. Located near the park, the swamp is teeming with diverse wildlife, including other primate species and a plethora of birdlife.

After some rest and relaxation, we'll venture out for an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi plains. This vast savannah landscape is home to an impressive array of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for game viewing. Keep your camera ready as we search for the park's famous residents, including the Big 4: elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. Additionally, keep an eye out for other fascinating species such as bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, waterbucks, and an abundance of birdlife.

Encounter an array of wildlife, from hippos to elephants, amidst stunning landscapes. The three-hour safari offers ample time to enjoy the unique ecosystem before returning to the lodge for dinner and reflection on the day's adventures.

After enjoying a packed breakfast, we'll set out for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, renowned for their abundant wildlife.
As we traverse the plains, keep your eyes peeled for the park's diverse inhabitants, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, leopards, and hyenas. Our experienced guide will help us spot these magnificent creatures and provide fascinating insights into their behaviors and habitats.
After our thrilling game drive, we'll continue our journey towards the captivating Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. En route, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Ugandan countryside, passing through quaint villages and lush greenery along the way.
Upon arrival at Bwindi Forest, we'll check into our accommodation and have some time to relax and unwind after our journey.

Following a hearty breakfast, we'll convene at the park headquarters for a thorough briefing by knowledgeable park staff. Accompanied by our lead guide, we'll venture into the dense forest in search of mountain gorillas. Each gorilla family is habituated to human presence, ensuring a safe encounter. The trek's duration varies from 2 to 7 hours round trip, depending on gorilla movements.
Upon finding the gorilla family, we'll witness their social interactions and familial bonds. After this unforgettable experience, we'll return to the lodge to unwind. In the evening, an optional community walk offers insight into local culture and traditions.

Upon arrival at Lake Bunyonyi, you will check into your accommodation overlooking the serene waters of the lake. Whether you choose a cozy lakeside cottage, a rustic safari tent, or a comfortable lodge room, you will be treated to spectacular views and warm hospitality.
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may opt to take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, exploring its many islands and hidden coves while soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Alternatively, you can relax on the lakeshore, take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters, or simply unwind and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

After a hearty breakfast overlooking the serene waters of Lake Bunyonyi, we will bid farewell to this picturesque destination and embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park.
As we make our way to Lake Mburo National Park, we will stop for a delicious lunch in Mbarara, allowing you to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.
Upon arrival at Lake Mburo National Park, we will proceed directly to our accommodation to check in and freshen up. Then, we will set out for an exhilarating game drive in the park, during which we will have the opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife species in their natural habitat.
Keep your eyes peeled for zebras, impalas, kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, and an array of bird species as we explore the park's diverse ecosystems.

As our safari draws to a close, we will enjoy a leisurely breakfast at our accommodation in Lake Mburo National Park, savoring the last moments of our adventure in the heart of Uganda's wilderness.
After breakfast, we will embark on the journey back to Entebbe, our final destination. The road will take us through scenic countryside, with opportunities to admire the rural landscapes and local communities along the way.
We will make a stop in Masaka for a delightful lunch, allowing us to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine before continuing our journey.
Our next stop will be at the equator, where we will have the opportunity to capture memorable photos at this iconic landmark. You can also indulge in some souvenir shopping, browsing the stalls for unique mementos to take home with you.
After our visit to the equator, we will proceed to Entebbe International Airport, and this will mark the end of your 12-day Uganda Tour.
