Upon your arrival our representative will meet you at Hosea Kutako International Airport and brief you in detail about your safari. After the meet and greet you will be taken to the vehicle rental company to collect your vehicle. From there, you will make your way north to Okonjima Nature Reserve. Make sure to arrive before 15:00 so you have enough time to settle in before going on your first game drive.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll continue to the eastern side of Etosha National Park, where you'll be staying at Onguma Bush Camp for the next two days. Located just a few kilometers from Etosha's Eastern gate at Namutoni, Onguma offers the perfect base for your adventures. Your itinerary includes two scheduled game drives at Onguma. During the day, you can self-drive through Etosha National Park, with the gates opening at sunrise and closing just before sunset. After returning to the bush camp, you can freshen up for dinner. In the evening, enjoy observing a variety of animals at the floodlit waterhole at Onguma Bush Camp. The rest of the night is yours to relax.

Day 3

Today is dedicated to a full day of game viewing with the lodge. Your local guide will take you on an exploration in an open game drive vehicle, providing a chance to see a wide variety of animals. If you're lucky, you might witness predators hunting their early morning prey, as they are only active during the early morning and late afternoon. You'll leave the park before sunset, as the gates close at that time. After returning, you'll have time to freshen up for dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

At Etosha Oberland Lodge you can enjoy more game-viewing activities, do nature walks or relax at the lodge. This is the perfect spot to end your 5-day Etosha self-drive safari.
