Hosea Kutako International Airport to AfriCat Foundation (Okonjima)
Today, upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our staff members who will meet and greet you and brief you in detail about your safari. Once you are done, you will be escorted to the company where you will collect your rental car. After you are done with your procedures with the car rental company, you will head north for an estimated three hours toward Okonjima Private Game Reserve. This lodge not only offers luxury but also features a diverse range of wildlife. You'll take some time to relax and rejuvenate before embarking on an afternoon leopard-tracking excursion for close encounters with these magnificent predators. Afterward, you'll savor a delightful dinner as you enjoy your first night in Namibia.
If you desire another activity, you can make arrangements for the next morning before your departure. The lodge provides a variety of optional excursions, including game drives and rhino or pangolin tracking on foot.

AfriCat Foundation (Okonjima) to Southern Etosha National Park
After breakfast, you'll continue northward and drive for approximately one hour and forty minutes until you reach the charming town of Outjo. You can visit the park with your vehicle for a short drive but you have to leave the park before sunset, since they closed the park gates before sunset and all visitors should be out by sunset.
Etosha Oberland Lodge is perched atop rocky dolomite hills in the region, offering a breathtaking view of a bustling waterhole teeming with wildlife. You'll enjoy guided game drives to discover the region's hidden treasures, experience thrilling, up-close wildlife encounters from a hide and on foot, or simply relax at the lodge while soaking in the magnificent vistas. The morning and afternoon game drives are booked with the lodge and begin before sunrise, while afternoon game drives usually end with a sundowner. You will be off in an open vehicle with the local guide.

Etsoha National Park to Damaraland
In the morning, you'll drive southwest for approximately four hours through rugged mountains and savannah plains into Damaraland.
Nestled among these boulders is Mowani Mountain Camp, which offers stunning vistas of the surrounding landscapes. As the sun sets, you'll enjoy dinner under a star-studded canopy.
Throughout your stay, you'll have the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the region. You'll embark on a guided desert-adapted elephant and nature drive along the dry Huab River. If you prefer, you can venture on your own to Brandberg Mountain, Namibia's largest mountain, renowned for the famous "White Lady" rock painting. You'll marvel at bushmen rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the nation's first heritage site, and witness ancient petrified forests and towering rock organ pipes that seem to stretch endlessly toward the sky.
Another optional desert-adapted elephant and nature drive can be arranged for an additional cost before your departure the next morning.

Damaraland to Swakopmund
Your next destination will take you on a roughly three-hour drive southwest to reach the Skeleton Coast. As you head south for an hour, you'll see the Zeila Shipwreck en route to the town of Swakopmund.
The Strand Hotel is situated by the ocean and offers exceptional restaurants and bars to enhance your stay. Take some time to meander through the streets and admire the intriguing architecture, stroll along the jetty, or simply savor a warm beverage at the Slow Town coffee shop.
On the second day at Swakopmund, you will be off for most of the famous and remarkable Sandwich Harbour Tour at Walvisbay. You will meet with your local guide at Waterfront at 8:00 am. You'll return to the waterfront, collect your car, and return to Swakopmund and the rest of the day is spent at your leisure.

Swakopmund to Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
The following day, you'll drive approximately five hours inland, with optional intriguing landmarks like Kuiseb Canyon and Ghaub along the way.
Nestled amidst rugged mountains, Hoodia Desert Lodge is located roughly thirty minutes from the Namib-Naukluft National Park, right on the banks of the Tsauchab River. You'll enjoy their hospitality and take a dip in the pool. Afterward, you'll embark on an optional sundowner experience.
The next morning, you will be off to the Namib Desert on a guided tour to see some of the world's biggest dunes, admire the vistas of Sossusvlei, and wander amid the beauty of Deadvlei. You'll end the experience in the shade of Sesriem Canyon. Lunch is included as part of the excursion.
If you're seeking an extra thrill, an optional hot-air balloon adventure can be arranged for an additional cost.

Today, after your scrumptious breakfast, you'll drive approximately five hours to Windhoek.
One of our staff members will meet you at Hosea Kutako International Airport and assist with the vehicle handover and check-in procedures. We highly recommend that you arrive at the airport at least three hours before your outbound flight.
If your schedule allows, you can explore Windhoek, Namibia's capital city. Should you desire to extend your stay in Windhoek for an extra night or go on an optional city tour, we can assist you in making these arrangements for an additional cost.
