Pick-up from your in Dar es Salaam at 0600am then by4by Safari Jeep to Selous Game Reserve you will be passing though country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. The trip will take you about 5 hours. Arrival the lodge for lunch relax at leisure till afternoon around 0400pm proceed with Boat game drive in the great Rifiji River till sunset, you have a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery with a lot of wildlife like hippos, Crocodiles and many spices of birds about 2 hours then back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Selous Safari Lodge.

Nyerere National Park-Full Guided Game Drive

Breakfast then with you lunch box, proceed to full day game drive in the Nyerere National Park. Due to the diversity of its wildlife and undisturbed nature The park is home to the typical savannah animals such as large numbers of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles and the rare African Wild Dog. This immense sanctuary, which measures 50,000 sq. km, practically undisturbed by human impact. The park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands. You will enjoy your full day game drives in the park along the great lakes and rivers having a chance to see the a lot of wildlife till late the afternoon then back to the lodge relax at leisure then dinner and overnight at the Selous Safari Lodge.

Nature Walks -Nyerere National Park - Dar es Salaam

Generally the early morning is the coolest time of the day. Venture into a nature walks; Walkers leave after a cup of tea/coffee, and eat breakfast on their return to lodge. The walk usually lasts for about 2 hours, and can cover up to 3 km in the Wildlife controlled area of Nyerere National Park. The purpose of a walking safari is not to get close to animals. You get closer to animals when in a vehicle. The purpose of a walking safari is to see their tracks, their dung, to see plants and trees, and generally to enjoy being in nature without a vehicle. After breakfast with your lunch box drive back to Dar es Salaam arrival around early afternoon the drop at your home, hotel or Airport. That will be the end of the Safari.
