Amazing Game Drive

Your day will start with an early morning breakfast, followed by a game drive inside the Nyerere National Park with your picnic lunch. Nyerere National Park is the largest in Africa, covering 30,000 square kilometers, also known as Selous Game Reserve. The park gets its name from Tanzania’s first president and the father of the nation, who passed away in the year 1999 due to multiple illnesses.

Other species commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus. Moreover, the park had originally been set aside as a hunting area where animals are abundant but more shy then the Northern Parks. Excursions by 4×4 vehicle will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park.

Walking Tour-Dar es Salaam

Activity: Early in the morning after breakfast at the camp, start a walk in the bush at sunrise. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get closer to nature and learn about the smaller species and the bush itself. It is an unforgettable experience to walk in such a vast and wild nature reserve area. Walks last about 2-3 hours. Usually, walks leave the camp at 06:00-06:30 AM after having a cup of tea and homemade cookies or donuts.

After a walking tour, you will return to your accommodation and prepare for the return to Dar es Salaam at 09:00 AM with a drop off at the hotel or airport.
