City tour and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

Your tour guide / driver shall pick you from the Hotel in Kigali in the morning at 8am and go for an optional Kigali city tour. Visit the genocide memorial, local markets among others. You will then set off North of Rwanda to Bwindi National Park in Uganda crossing via Katuna Border with a scenic view of well terraced mountains and hills reaching early in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Bakiga Lodge.

Gorilla trekking adventure and transfer to Volcanoes National park

In the morning at 7am, you will head to the park headquarters after your early breakfast with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. You will then enter the forest in search of the gentle giants. This may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals on the day. On return, you will set off to Volcanoes National park in Rwanda crossing via Cyanika border reaching early in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge.

Golden monkey tracking and transfer back to Kigali

Early morning after breakfast, you will transfer to Volcanoes Park headquarters for briefing before going for golden monkey tracking at 8:30am. You will enjoy them play in the forest in search of food. On return, you will have lunch and then set off back to Kigali reaching early in the evening, and transfer to the airport to check in for your departure flight if on schedule.
