Upon your arrival at the airport, you'll be greeted by your guide who will be your companion throughout the safari. From the airport, you'll be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Arusha, often referred to as the gateway to the safari circuit, is nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru and serves as an excellent starting point for your adventure. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant markets or simply settle in and prepare for the safari ahead. An overnight stay will be arranged in Arusha, ensuring you're well-rested for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park. You'll enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire, known for its large elephant population and baobab trees. Lake Eyasi to Mto wa Mbu

Lake Eyasi to Mto wa Mbu

You'll begin your day with an early morning visit to the Hadzabe people, known as hunter-gatherers, to experience their unique way of life and join them on a hunting expedition. You'll be immersed in their traditional hunting techniques and learn about their customs firsthand. Afterward, you will continue your cultural exploration with a visit to the Datoga people, where you can interact with community members and gain insight into their artisanal skills. Later in the day, you will depart from Lake Eyasi and drive to Mto wa Mbu, a lively village near Lake Manyara National Park. You'll arrive in Mto wa Mbu in the late afternoon, check into your accommodation, and take some time to explore the vibrant local area, engaging with the welcoming residents. Your overnight stay will be in Mto wa Mbu.
