Morning we transfer birding to Bwindi, lunch break in Kabale or Mbarara City. Bwindi is situated in southwestern Uganda, famous of its habitat of about 408 mountain gorilla’s “half of world’s population!” Opportunities abound to discover the local Bakiga and Batwa pygmy cultures through their performances, workshops and village walks. It lies at a relatively higher altitude and temperature here is cooler ranging from 10 to 18°C. And degree of fitness is required to hike for these gentle giants.

Gorilla Trekking Day
Gorilla tracking (experience an unfathomable connection during a magical hour in the company of mountain gorillas!) after breakfast with Picnic lunch, we shall assemble at the park offices for briefing prior to this historic event. The activity takes between 4-8hours, later drive leisurely and relax any where around Lake Bunyonyi where you will have Scenic views of the lake, round hills, and fresh air.
