The park is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino). Predators such as hyenas, wild dogs, and cheetahs roam the green savannah for prey like zebra, eland, and antelope. Majestic giraffes can be seen picking at the tall acacia trees in the park. Crocodiles are found in the Grumeti and Mara Rivers, and hippos can be spotted in the adjacent rivers.
