Prison and Nakupenda Island

You'll set sail for Prison Island, located just off the coast of Unguja, renowned for its population of Aldabra giant tortoises and the ruins of an ancient prison and hospital. A 45-minute boat journey from Stone Town reveals the island's intriguing past. Initially built as a prison in 1893, it was subsequently repurposed as a quarantine hospital. After the Prison Island excursion, you will take a boat trip to Nakupenda Beach. Zanzibar Sunset Cruise in Nungwi. You will board a traditional dhow at a nearby beach, where a variety of snacks, perfectly chilled drinks, and beer await.
