Upon arrival at Mwanza Airport, our guide will meet and welcome you, providing a briefing and introduction to your safari. Mwanza, known as the "Rock City," offers a pleasant climate, a safe environment, and beautiful scenery. If you arrive early, you will have the opportunity to explore the area, visit Lake Victoria, see the famous Bismarck Rock, and tour key landmarks. You may also shop for local and cultural products if interested.
After lunch, you will embark on a scenic two-hour drive to the shores of Lake Victoria, near the Serengeti National Park gate. Here, you can relax on the beach, view the sunset, and prepare for the next day’s game drive.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge around 6:30 am and driven to the great Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) with your packed picnic lunch in hand. You also have a hot lunch option.
This will be a full day game drive in the vast west Serengeti wilderness. You will have ample time to explore and encounter a variety of resident animals. The park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. It is also known for its birdlife and the Great Migration. If you plan your safari for June or early July, you may witness over two million wildebeests crossing the Grumeti River, with carnivores taking advantage of this opportunity for an easy meal.
In the evening, you will drive to the Serengeti district headquarters (Mugumu), about 40 minutes from the northern gate, where you will overnight and ready yourself for the next day's adventure.

The Great Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti National Park is considered one of the “Wonders of the World” and is among the most spectacular events to witness in Tanzania. It is a truly awe-inspiring display of life in a vast ecosystem driven by weather patterns, primarily rainfall, and the relentless struggle for survival among the herbivores of the Serengeti plains.
You will have a once-in-a-lifetime, memorable experience with two full days to witness more than two million wildebeests on their migration. You will also see the dramatic Mara River crossing, where crocodiles and other carnivores take advantage of the opportunity to hunt with ease.

Day 4

You will continue with a full game drive in the vast wilderness of the northern Serengeti, experiencing the Great Migration, the open savannah plains, and a diverse range of wildlife in their natural environment. You will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, spending half of your fourth day witnessing more than two million migrating wildebeest and observing the challenges they face while crossing the Mara River—which is an opportunity for predators to hunt.
In the evening, you will drive to central Serengeti, enjoying an evening game drive along the way, before proceeding to your overnight stay in the heart of this marvelous park.

Day 5

You will continue with a full game drive in the heart of Serengeti, allowing ample time for an extensive exploration and the opportunity to encounter the “Big Five” and big cats. Serengeti National Park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and numerous bird species, including those following the Great Migration. You will have the chance to observe these incredible animals and enjoy lunch at a central picnic site.
In the evening, you will witness the sunset and spend the night enjoying dinner and the magnificent views of the park, preparing for the next day's adventure.

Day 6
Southern Serengeti National Park

Today you’ll go on a full day game drive through the vast wilderness of the southern Serengeti towards Ngorongoro. You will have ample time for an extensive game drive, with the opportunity to encounter the “Big Five” and big cats in their natural habitat. The park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and a diverse array of bird species.
After lunch, you will exit the Serengeti through the Naabi Gate and continue with a game drive. In the evening, you will arrive at the crater rim in Ngorongoro, where you will spend the night at a camp. Enjoy dinner while taking in the breathtaking views of the crater, preparing for the next day's game drive.

Day 7

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before a 7:00 am pick-up from your lodge. You will drive for about 15-20 minutes to the Ngorongoro Crater entry gate.
On this day, you will experience spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater, accompanied by the songs of various bird species. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best known wildlife viewing areas. Spanning approximately 21 km in width, it is located near Olduvai Gorge, where significant fossils have been discovered. It is also one of the largest calderas in the world.
Within the crater walls, a diverse range of wildlife and vegetation thrives, including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a freshwater lake, and rich biodiversity. Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, rhinos, zebras, and reedbucks.
In the evening, you will exit the crater and head to Karatu, where you will spend the night in preparation for the next day's game drive in Tarangire.

Day 8

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park. Here, you will encounter giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and various species of antelopes and gazelles.
Tarangire National Park, with its endless tree-dotted savanna and seasonal marshes, is also home to the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania, with over 4,000 individuals. You will spend the day on an extensive wildlife drive, stopping at a scenic picnic spot to enjoy your lunch.
The game drive will continue until around 4:00 pm. Afterward, we will drive for approximately 1.5 hours to Arusha, where you will spend the night in preparation for your flight back home the next day.

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport. If your flight is in the evening, you will have ample time to tour Arusha city, explore its key attractions, and enjoy lunch before your transfer to the airport.
