Day 1

On arriving at Mwanza Airport, our guide will meet and pick you from airport. You will get chance for briefing and introduction about your safari. Mwanza is a good lake and rock city in terms of whether, environment, safety and security. If you arrive early after being picked, you will have time to tour Mwanza city, Lake Victoria, Bismark rock and visit key areas and have time to refresh and enjoy the city environment and banquet until lunch time. You will also have opportunity to go shopping in local and cultural products if you are interested. After lunch you will drive for 2 hours to spend more time in Shores of Lake Victoria beach which is closer to Serengeti national park gate ready for next day game while enjoying beach and viewing sunset.

Day 2

Earlier in the morning after breakfast around 06:30 am, pick up from the Lodge and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) with your Packed Picnic Lunch with an option of a hot lunch.

This will be a full game drive in the greater wilderness of west Serengeti. You will have enough time to do an extensive game drive and have a chance to encounter mix of animal which are more residents. Serengeti National Park is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocodiles and more. Lot of birds includes zebra and wildebeest migration. If you plan and book your safari in June-early July you have time to witness more than 2 million wildebeest crossing Gurumeti river and carnivores using that opportunity to capture and enjoy easy meal.

Evening you will drive to the headquarter of Serengeti district (Mugumu) which is 40 minutes to Northern gate of Serengeti national park for overnight ready for next day.

In the evening you will drive to central Serengeti and do an evening game as you proceed to overnight in the central heart of this marvelous park.

This will be a full game drive in the greater wilderness of southern Serengeti to Ngorongoro. You will have enough time to do an extensive game drive and have a chance to encounter the big five and big cats on the game. Serengeti National Park is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. Lot of birds includes zebra and many others.

After lunch you will check out of Serengeti through name gate and continue with game drive and later evening arrive and spend your night at the crater rim camp in Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight while enjoying the beautiful and magnificent views of the crater ready for the next day crater game.

Wake up earlier and take a breakfast, pick up around 07:00 from your lodge and drive 15-20 minutes towards Ngorongoro Crater entry gate.
In this day you will be able to experience the magnificent and spectacular view of Ngorongoro crater with the songs from various birds’ species over the crater. Not only that but also you can get a chance to see some of the big cat. Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best known wildlife viewing areas. The crater is about 21kms wide, close to Olduvai Gorge where many fossils have been earthed and is one of the largest calderas in the world. Within its walls is a variety of animals and vegetation including grasslands, swamps, forests, salt pans, a fresh water lake and rich wildlife. The wildlife found includes lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, rhino zebra’s reedbucks. In the evening you will drive out of crater and overnight at Karatu ready for next day game in Tarangire national park.

Day 8

Full game drive Tarangire National Park

Full game drive Tarangire National Park

In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and drives to Tarangire National Park. You will encounter giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, gnus and different types of antelopes and gazelles. Tarangire National Park with its endless tree savanna and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest elephant herd in North Tanzania with over 4000 herds. The day will be full extensive wildlife watch with our lunch box to be taken at a picnic spot and in the afternoon. After lunch we will continue with game drive to around 4pm and check to drive 1.5 hour to Arusha enjoy the night ready for the next day of your flight back home.
