Ngorongoro Crater
You will depart from your accommodation around 6:00am and head to Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but also one of the natural wonders of Africa. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, eland, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Hippos and a large number of flamingoes and other water birds can also be seen here. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the hippo pool picnic site. Following lunch, you will be transferred back to Arusha.
