Upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will go through the immigration process that always takes between thirty minutes to two hours depending on your arrival time. Exiting through arrivals you will meet a representative from Hooves of Africa safaris for a short meet and greet then transfer to your guest house in Entebbe for the overnight on Bed and Breakfast arrangement.

Shoebill Tour and transfer to lake Mburo
Pick up from the guest 06:40hrs and drive to Nakiwogo landing site where we will take a motorized boat to the wetlands. The boat transfer to the wetlands takes about 30 minutes on the lake. When you get into the wetlands, change onto the small boat which is convenient for maneuvering into the wetlands and start the quest to look for the prehistoric shoebill. Once the shoebill has been sighted we transfer to the equator for a hot lunch and the proceed our next destination lake Mburo. Afternoon game drive time allowing and optional night game drive to see leopards. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the park.

Walking safari and transfer Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After your walking safari where you get a chance to get closer, intimate and immersive way to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of this park. You will have lunch en route and continue to drive south words through farmlands of Ankole, watch out for long horned cattle and farmers carrying or cycling the banana (matoke) to the markets. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the forest.

Ultimate gorilla tracking in the mist and Community tour
After your early breakfast (7:00am), you will have short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 Pax, you will be led by the armed ranger guides off the forest to search for the gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. After gorilla tracking, we drive back to lodge, change and get ready for community walk. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer from Bwindi to Ishasha Sector (Home of Tree Climbing Lions)
After breakfast, drive from Bwindi to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Queen Elizabeth Park is undoubtedly Uganda’s most visited national park and Ishasha sector is famous for the tree-climbing lions. This day is dedicated to discovering the vast plains of Ishasha. Look out for elephant herds, Topi hers, buffaloes, Kobs among others. Dinner and overnight in Ishasha sector.

Morning game drive in Ishasha & Evening Kazinga community boat cruise
After breakfast, you will have a final game drive as you depart to northern part of the park. Check in at your lodge, have a hot lunch and prepare for the afternoon community boat to on Kazinga channel.
In the afternoon, you will take on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel to discover more about this park. Kazinga channel is famous for the population of hippos and is said to have the highest population of hippos on the African continent. Other wildlife can be sighted here including the African elephant, the Cape buffalo, waterbucks, lots of birds, and reptiles like the Nile crocodile among others. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the park.

Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale forest
After breakfast, you will conduct the last game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park before you drive to Kibale forest national park. After lunch, you will drive towards Fort portal town where you have crater lakes drive if time allows. The craters are part of the beautiful sceneries of the region and walk to the top of the world is an experience that will blow you mind away. Dinner and overnight at the edge Kibale forest.

Am chimpanzee tracking and pm Bigodi community tour
After breakfast, you will drive to kanyanchu to join others for briefing before you head to forest with rangers in search of chimps following their calls and tracks. Once chimps have been located, you will spend one hour with them as you learn more about them.
In the afternoon we take a walk in the famous Bigodi wetlands, a community project managed by the community aimed at changing and improving the lives of the host communities. Watch out for olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys', black and white colobus monkey, bird species, cultural encounter with the local communities. Dinner and overnight.

Transfer back to Entebbe for your flight back home
After breakfast, we depart from Kibale to Entebbe for your evening flight. Please note that the transfer is about 6 hours. We can book a day room use at an extra cost. End of tour.
