After breakfast, your private guide will collect you at 9:00 AM from your accommodation and head to Etosha National Park. Lunch is enjoyed en route. You will drive toward the northern part of Namibia and drive +- 4 to 5 hours, but it is a fantastic way to get to know the “lie of the land” here in Namibia. You will pass through Okahandj. Before passing the next town, you'll go through Otjiwarongo and when you reach Outjo, know that you only have a short drive to reach your lodge.

We will make a few stops along the way to stretch your legs and have a bite to eat. You will reach your lodge just outside the Andersson gate in the afternoon. On arrival, you'll settle in and if time allows, you will go for a short game drive inside the park.

You'll return to freshen up for your dinner since the park gates are closed by sunset and all the visitors must leave the park before they close the gate before sunset. The rest of the night is spent on your siesta.

Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park

Today, after your early breakfast you'll be off in your private vehicle with your guide to explore the southwestern side of the world-famous Etosha National Park. Lunch can be had at one of the resorts inside the park. You'll continue with your wildlife-viewing drive. You'll need to exit the park before sunset since they closed their park gates.

In the drier months of the year, almost all the animals tend to congregate around the waterholes dotted around the massive park. They come to drink water and are inevitably followed by predators; this allows us to sit and wait at some of the waterholes and wait for the action to come to us. This is what sets Etosha apart from other parks in Southern or East Africa; unique indeed!

You will return to the lodge after your afternoon game drive to freshen up and enjoy your dinner. The rest of the night is spent on your siesta.
