Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay at Karibu Heritage House. The transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha takes approximately 1 hour, covering a distance of 53 kilometers. Enjoy the scenic drive as you relax before your exciting safari begins.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Program: You'll be picked up from the lodge early in the morning and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. Once game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Full game drive

Program: After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes.

This park constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. Enjoy the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos), and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards). Be ready to see many animals here within a little while.

Lake Manyara Full game drive

The park is famous for the arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and the numerous colony of baboons that populate the forest and which will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
