Serengeti National Park to Karatu

The central part of the Serengeti National Park will be our area of exploration. Because of the phenomenal lion and leopard population, the most famous safari destination is the fabled Serengeti National Park. One of the park's richest areas for wildlife is the central region, also called the Seronera area. The Seronera River gives this region a vital water supply and draws in wildlife that is fairly representative of most of the Serengeti's species. One certainly needs to keep an eye out for the numerous lion pride that flourish in this area during the off-season of the migration. Throughout the year, this lion pride's interactions and survival make for a fantastic game-viewing experience. We will have our picnic lunch at one of the renowned picnic areas selected by our guide. We will then proceed with our afternoon game drive for two hours and later drive to Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
