Day 1

Pick up and transfer to Jinja

Our professional driver guide will pick you up from your hotel & start off the early morning drive on Jinja road high way to your first stopover at the Historical Sezibwa waterfalls which are 7m high with hissing sound created by falling waters that forms magnificent scenery.
The falls are surrounded by lush vegetation and the steep rocks over which the water falls. Enjoy exciting activities like birding, camping, rock climbing, nature walks, hiking and canoeing at the site.
Drive to Jinja City. Jinja is the adventure capital of East Africa and it is most renowned for being the home to the Source of the Nile River. You will have lunch in town and then proceed to visit the Ripon falls and thereafter continue to real source of the Nile where you will experience the Nile river dramatically separates from Lake Victoria, the stream of water will start running towards the North forming the Victoria Nile co-joining with the Albert Nile to Mediterranean sea. Explore the source of the Nile.

Day 2

Transfer to Sipi Falls

Early at 6:30am, you will embark on the 3hr scenic journey to Sipi Falls in Eastern Uganda. Upon arrival at Sipi Falls at 9:00am, you will meet the local guide and start off the hike to visit the Sipi Water Falls.
Following the footpaths in the local communities, farmlands of tea, and banana plantations and breathtaking landscapes until you hear the hissing of the cascading waterfalls. The top of the falls will give you picturesque views of the green slopes of Mount Elgon and distant plains of Karamoja. The hike takes about 3-4 hours, retreat from the hike and have your late lunch in Sipi.
In the evening, you will a community visit as you have a black coffee experience and later check in at the lodge for lodge.

After having your breakfast, At 7:00 am, you go for 7hr drive to Kidepo Valley National Park through local towns, markets, farmlands and communities with stop overs for lunch and use for washrooms. Early in the morning, you will set off for a beautiful safari game viewing in the Kidepo’s incredible wilderness.
Enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the rugged horizon and savanna/acacia grasslands and observe plenty of animals when you drive through the two main biomes of Kidepo – from the savanna/acacia grasslands of the Narus Valley in the south, to the semi-arid short grass of Kidepo Valley in the north near the border with South Sudan.
Kidepo National Park is very popular for cats, some of which cannot be found in any other parks in Uganda, such as the Cheetah, Stripped Hyena, Aardwolf, Bat-eared Fox etc
The Ostrich is one of the conspicuous birds here and which you cannot find in any other park in Uganda. Not to be missed is the famous sand river and the Kanangorok hot springs both found in the Kidepo Valley, north of the park. If it is a dry day, you shall have picnic lunch at the dry sand river bed in Kidepo, one of the most beautiful experiences you can have on safari.

In the morning before the sun gets hot, you shall go for a guided nature walk in the parkled by a park ranger to watch animals up close as you take in the beautiful wilderness.
Return to the lodge for a heavy breakfast, and rest till lunch. After lunch you will visit a local community of the Karamajong tribe who are very similar to the famous Masai of Kenya. Learn about their traditions and cultures, unique housing, ornaments, and crafts. You shall also be treated to a traditional dance presentation.

Have early breakfast, check out, and leave for Murchison Falls National Park. You shall have a stopover in Kitgum or Gulu town for early lunch. Arrive in Murchison in the late afternoon, relax for the rest day of the day at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, go for a game drive in the northern part of the park. There are lots of animals to see on a game drive. Possible sightings include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Jackson Hartebeests, Uganda kobs, oribis and waterbucks. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise to the Bottom of the fall.
The launch cruise gives an exciting panoramic view of the mighty Murchison Falls squeezing itself through a narrow gorge. Expect to see various animals include crocodiles, hippos, etc. Lots of birds can be seen at the river banks and these include African kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork.

Today is yet another day for a longer drive also. Driving from Murchison falls to Kibale National park is approximately 9-10hrs on the road. Most important of all, your guide will help you enjoy the trip, make stops to take photos, have some fresh fruits and snacks as well; it is such an interesting drive. Take a moment to see the Mahoma falls, the crater lakes and a lot more.

Day 9

Chimp tracking & Bigodi Nature walk

You will gather at Kanyanchu Tourism Center in Kibale National Park for a briefing and then catch up with Chimp trekking which begins at 8 am. After this, you take footsteps into the captivating forest in search of the man’s closest relative.
Be reminded that apart from chimps, Kibale also supports 12 other Primate Species including the threatened red colobus with the highest population thriving in Kibale, the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and potto

On encountering the incredible chimps, you will be given 1 magical hour to learn about these apes as they scamper from one tree to another, interacting, playing, and grooming each other as you take photos of a lifetime experience.
Retreat from the activity which tends to last 2 – 5 hours and get back to the starting point where you will rejoin your company safari guide and settle for your packed lunch after which you transfer to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for fascinating possibilities of sightseeing about 138 bird species.

After breakfast, you will drive to Semuliki National Park, you will go for a visit to fascinating Semuliki Hot springs with boiling geysers and bubbling mud pools. The Sempaya Hot spring features both Male (Bintente) and Female (Nyasmbi) hot springs.
The female one is the most attractive with bubbling waters and the most visited one and it’s the major attraction that attracts several travelers from all over the world.
The hot spring has a very high temperature above 103 degrees Celsius tasted by dropping a raw egg and plantain that boils immediately and gets ready for consumption.

Wake up very early and prepare for a morning game drive in the Park. Expect to see 4 of the famous Big Five animals, look out for elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Kobs, Warthogs, Hyenas, and different savanna and or forest bird species.

Head back to your lodge, have your breakfast, relax, or take a stroll around as you take some photos.
At 2:00 pm, you will go for the launch cruise on the amazing Kazinga channel, expect to see herds of buffaloes, hippos, elephants, antelopes, crocodiles, as they quench their thirsty and a variety of colorful bird species, especially the kingfishers, cormorants, egrets, and others.
Retreat from the game drive and check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Set off for Bwindi via Ishasha sector– famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they’re down in the grassland looking for prey). Hoping you get the chance to spot them, the sight will be spectacular and eye-catching. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda; harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked.
Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants.
In the evening, you will have a community walk where you will encounter the Batwa communities who will welcome you with charming traditional dances and songs as well as visit their home with exceptional architecture and unique magnificent dress code.

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure.
The beauty of this rainforest is remarkable! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.

You will have a relaxed breakfast in the morning and then embark on a journey to Kampala city. On your way to Kampala/Entebbe, you will meet several attractive farmlands; local communities, and local markets make possible stopovers, and enjoy the best of your safari.
You will stop for lunch en route at Kayabwe for an Equator experience as well as get souvenirs from nearby craft shops and take photographs.

And later continue your drive to Kampala arriving early evening or transfer to the airport depending on your flight departure time.
