Dar es Salaam to Mikumi NP + Sunset Game Drive

Pickup at your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam (04:00 AM) and drive to Mikumi national park (5-6 hours), you’ll arrive for the game drive. After arriving in the Mikumi Flood Plains you’ll have lunch at 01:30 PM before starting your day search for the wildlife in the park.

Guided Game Drive

You'll have breakfast at 07:00 AM before proceeding with a full-day game drive. Drive to Mikumi National Park where you will see all species of animals and birds. Due to its savannah plains, animals in Mikumi NP are easily accessed. You'll have the opportunity to spot them easily.

Have lunch in the mid-noon at 01:30 PM then advance with a game drive for the rest of the afternoon. The park is endowed with spectacular concentration of wildlife which are rarely seen in other parks like magnificent Sable antelope, African hunting dog, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and others.

Maasai Tour-Dar es Salaam

After breakfast at 06:30 AM you will start the day with a cultural visit to a local Maasai village in Mikumi. If time allows, we'll pass by the local women's market. The Maasai are a popular people found in Tanzania and Kenya. The tour will be extended to 08:30 AM then later with your packed lunches start driving to Dar es Salaam, arrive in evening for further Schedules with a drop off at the hotel or airport.
