Day 3

Game drives and visit with the locals

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast and head out into the wilderness for a game drive along the Narus Valley. The scenic drive rewards with almost the largest herds of Buffalos, elephants, and antelope species including; Jackson’s heartbeast, bushbuck, kobs, oribs, zebras, giraffes, lions, and occasionally leopards among many mammal species. Expect to see many unique birds including ostrich, and kori bustard among others on your drive to the Kanagorok hot springs. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, set off for a cultural walk to the Karamojong at Kapedo and Karema. You will interact and learn about the unique culture and way of life of the karamajong. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
