You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and set off to Kibale Forest National Park with en-route stops for photography. In case you arrive earlier, you will go for a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will be rewarded with primate encounters including different monkey species and various bird species like the fabulous blue turaco. You may alternatively visit the crater lake around the Ndali Area.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning at 7:00 am, you will have breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the do's and don'ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then enter the forest for the chimpanzee tracking adventure. You will spend a maximum of of one hour with the chimpanzees once you encounter them. On return, you will have your lunch and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Take an early cup of coffee at 6.00 am and drive to Kasenyi sector for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early raisers like the leopard, lion, and spotted hyena among others. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for the afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This will reward you with a variety of water birds including the African fish eagle, the African skimmer, pelican, and the pre-historic looking shoe bill. On a hot day, you might see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and waterbucks bathing and drinking water along the channel banks.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi National Park via Ishasha sector with game drives in search of the famous tree-climbing lions which are always spotted clinging on old fig trees. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest found in the southern part of the country. You will arrive there in the evening for your overnight in preparation for the gorilla tracking the next day.

Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning after breakfast and briefing by a ranger guide, enter the forest for your gorilla tracking adventure. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Tracking may take 3-9 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour once you encounter them and then transfer back to your lodge for refreshment, and then set off to Lake Bunyonyi.

Transfer to Kampala
After your relaxed breakfast, you will set off to Kampala. On your way back, you will have a scenic view of mountains, plains fields and plantations. You will make several stopovers to do shopping, photography, and experiments at the equator. You will reach Kampala in the evening.
