Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the seven wonders of Africa. It is home to one of the most incredible ecosystems on earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. Here, the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals in harmony. The crater is about 610 meters deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000 species, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area in just minutes.
