Day 3

Begin your day with an early breakfast and head to Kyambura Gorge, often referred to as the “Valley of Apes,” for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, descend into the lush forested gorge and search for a habituated group of chimpanzees. The trek typically lasts 2-3 hours and offers not only the chance to observe chimps in their natural habitat but also a deeper appreciation of the gorge’s incredible biodiversity, including various birds, monkeys, and other wildlife.

After the trek, return to your lodge for a quick refresh and lunch. Then, embark on a scenic drive to the Ishasha sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions.
