Day 1

Program of the Day: Upon your arrival, a safari guide from Paws and Claws Safaris in Arusha will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax for the rest of the afternoon, enjoy your overnight stay, and prepare for the next day's adventure. If you have time, you can also take a short tour of Arusha city with our guide free of charge to explore this beautiful tourist city.

Day 2

Arusha to Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) or Northern Serengeti (Mara Area)

Program of the Day: You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by our tour guide driver, with lunch boxes in hand, and depart for the Serengeti Ndutu or Mara for a wildlife game drive. You will pay special attention to the great migration and experience the calving season. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. Afternoon, you will continue with a game drive before reaching the camp.

The Serengeti National Park is famous for its Great Migration the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals gathering together for calving season when wildebeests give birth. Once we finish the game drives, we will transfer you to the lodge/campsite for relaxation, dinner and overnight stays.

NB: The best time to visit is from mid-December to early April every year for the southern Serengeti Great migration (Ndutu area) or from early June to late October every year for the northern Serengeti Great migration (Mara area).

Day 3

Program of the Day: Today, wake up early, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and then witness the great migration in Serengeti (Ndutu or Mara) with special emphasis on migration. In the afternoon, depart to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay at the accommodation located on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This will allow you to descend inside the Crater the following day in the early morning and observe many animals while they are still active.

Serengeti National Park is well known for its great migration of wild herbivores, which is highly dependent on the rainfall season. The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals gathering together for the calving season. Wildebeests give birth during this time.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport

Program of the Day: After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up, and we will descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives with our lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drives, we will transfer you back to Arusha town or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where the safari ends.

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and a conservation project. It is the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the natural wonders of Africa. The crater is home to about 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as various bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Get ready to see many animals in a short amount of time.
