Nyerere National Park Boat Tour

Our driver guide reports to your hotel or airport for Start of the safari, with a 8 - 8.30am departure for a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park. You will be in your own private and exclusive 4x4 Landcruiser Safari vehicle, on arrival you'll go for lunch and short rest preparing yourself for the next activity.

In the evening you'll go for a boat tour which is the best excursions for bird enthusiasts, explore the good view of Crocodiles, hippopotamus along the banks of the Great Rufiji River, and drive back for dinner and overnight to the gentle grunting of the Camp. The tour will start at 04:00 PM to 06:30 PM, where you’ll be later drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Guided Game Drive

Your day will start with an early morning breakfast, followed by a game drive inside the Nyerere National Park with your picnic lunch. Nyerere National Park is the largest in Africa, covering 30,000 square kilometers, also known as Selous Game Reserve. The park gets its name from Tanzania’s first president and the father of the nation, who passed away in the year 1999 due to multiple illnesses.

Other species commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffaloes, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, and greater kudus. Moreover, the park had originally been set aside as a hunting area where animals are abundant but more shy then the Northern Parks. Excursions by 4×4 vehicle will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park.

Second Full Guided Game Drive

The day will be spent on game viewing in the Game Reserve after breakfast at 07:00 AM. You’ll gaze at the great animals’ collection including all the great favorites including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and all the other major species including the rare African hunting dog. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.
In the afternoon, eat your packed lunch with a few minutes rest and advance with game drive.

Drive to Dar after a Walking Tour

Early in the morning after breakfast at 07:00 AM make a walking Safari with armed Bushman at Nyerere National Park (Selous GR), make a walking safari for 2 hours to 09:00 AM then drive to Dar es Salaam for further schedules with your packed lunch box and this will be the end of your Visit.
