Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti

Arusha to Serengeti

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at 07h30 at your hotel in Arusha city (we can book for you on request). You will then depart to Serengeti National Park via the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

You will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts wildlife that is well representative of most of the Serengeti's species.

You will arrive in the afternoon and have lunch. Later, you will have an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park until early evening, when you will go to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay at a public campsite.

Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)

Day 2

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro

On this day, we suggest waking up early for breakfast (06h30) to go on an early morning game drive, as this is when animals are more active. You will see one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever witness.

Later, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Area. When you see the Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most beautiful havens for wildlife in the world. It provides a chance to see the steep volcanic wall in pristine condition, including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, opening plains and glistening streams. Here, you will have the best opportunity to see a concentration of flamingos and the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard).

You may be lucky enough to encounter the majestic cats in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River.

Later in the evening, we will head to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
