Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Zanzibar’s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport.
Enjoy a scenic flight over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and the diverse landscapes of Tanzania, arriving at Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival at the Selous Mtemere Airstrip, you will be welcomed by your knowledgeable safari guide. Then you will enter the Park for a full-day game drive. You will enjoy your fresh bush break and lunch at the bush picnic sites found within the Park before driving out to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Rise early in the morning for a nature walk with a bushman lead your way, You will get a chance to walk around the borders of the park and experience about traditional living styles of the indigenous of these areas, enjoying seeing various plant species and learning a little bit how are they useful in the daily basis together with the myths behind, then you may discover small animals like baboons and some insects closest to you on your way. Then you will walk back to your accomodation for Lunch and then after lunch you will go for Boat Safari in the Might Rufiji River, you will get a chance to spot aquatic wildlife like crocs and hippos as well as bird species.

Selous (Nyerere National Park) to Zanzibar Aisland

Take one last full-day game drive to encounter a variety of wildlife you might have missed. Morning is an excellent time for predators and prey to come out since it’s the time for searching for food and water to sustain their living, hence providing exciting game viewing opportunities.
Then after an extensive game drive your driver guide will drive you to Mtemere airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar to proceed with your holiday or to Dar es Salaam for flying back home.
